Dr. Barbara Neuhofer is a Professor and Head of Experience Design at the FH Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, Austria. As an educator, trainer and speaker, Barbara researches, teaches and speaks about experience design as a philosophy, mindset and toolset to guide human and business transformations across the physical and digital realms. Barbara has published over 30 scientific articles and has shared her work at over 60 conferences and events around the globe. Barbara gave a TEDx talk-performance at TEDxBucharest 2019 on “The Global State of Awe”, where she co-created an immersive sensory experience at the intersection of science and arts, aimed at giving insight into the awe-inducing event and mindset transformation that astronauts have when looking at Earth from space. Barbara’s work has been recognized with more than ten international scientific awards. Currently, Barbara Neuhofer co-authors a book on Transformational Design focusing on how to use experience design to guide transformations.



Krzysztof specialises in event management along with workshops and trainings to the new incomers.

By side, he also conducts scientific research focusing on economics, business psychology, sociology, marketing, and cultural studies. He implements his research projects on building internal and external strategic management for international organizations.

Marketing Director 

Joanne Yu is a research assistant and a master graduate of Innovation and Management in Tourism at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. Her research interests center on destination image, consumer experience, social media data analysis, and emerging technologies in tourism and hospitality.



Project Manager

Jennifer Daxböck finished her Master Program "Innovation and Management in Tourism" at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences and is now working in the Project Office at A1 and as freelance Marketing assistant for nomad Reisen. Areas of interest reach from experience and service design, human resource management to event- and project management.
